Rebecca Catherine Gray is a classical realist artist who is currently creating a series of whimsical portrait paintings inspired by storybook characters.
After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Art from Olivet Nazarene University in 2004, she has immersed herself in the academic method of drawing and painting. She has studied under the instruction of Jura Bedic at the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy, Juliette Aristides in Seattle, WA, and in New York where she completed the four year program at the Grand Central Atelier under the instruction of Jacob Collins, Colleen Barry, and Scott Waddell.
She has received honors from Art Renewal Center, Grand Central Academy, Hudson River Fellowship, and ONU. Her work is in galleries and private collections across the United States. Rebecca creates in her home studio in Swartz Creek, MI
